How can I commission a painting?

Please email, phone or DM Georgina on Instagram with your thoughts on what you would like to commission or alternatively she can have a casual chat with you on the type of painting you are after. There is no obligation to commit to a commission at this stage.

For pet, house, flower and landscape commissions please email a clear photo, preferably with good lighting, of what you would like to be painted. Georgina will paint what she sees from these photographs.

If sending a pet photo, where possible, please send a full body photograph unless you are hoping for a close up portrait.

In your email please specify the size of painting (though this can be guided by Georgina if you are unsure) and if you would like the painting to be on canvas, paper or board.

What type of commissions does Georgina paint?

Georgina is open to a wide range of commissions. She has painted bridal bouquet paintings in the past, landscapes, portraits, pet portraits, house commissions and even favourite cocktails and beer!

Commissions are bespoke to you and so if you have something in mind, please feel free to contact Georgina with your ideas.

If both parties are happy with the commission idea then the commission will be started.

What is the process of starting a commission?

At the start of a commission you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20%. This is to allow for materials to be bought for the commission.

Upon completion, Georgina will email you a photo of the finished piece and that is when the remaining amount will need to be paid.

Please remember to allow for drying time before postage. Oil paint can take about 2 weeks to dry (sometimes longer) depending on the thickness of the paint.

Georgina will then wrap up the paining in secure packaging and will get it posted to you as soon as possible.

For smaller sized works, Royal Mail is used and for larger sized canvases different couriers may be required.

Can I return a painting?

If the painting is not damaged and it is not a commission piece, returns are accepted. Please note, return postage will need to be paid by you and the painting would need to be returned within 30 days.
