Georgina is a contemporary artist whose work explores her love of nature and the outdoors. She lives and works in Hitchin in Hertfordshire.
Georgina mainly works in oils using bold brushstrokes in a painterly style. Her loose but intentional mark making is suggestive of the forms within landscapes. She enjoys creating paintings that are more abstracted on closer look and which become more realistic and representative when viewed at a distance.
Landscape Artist of the Year
Georgina had the opportunity to take part in this year’s Landscape Artist of the Year which was aired on Sky Arts. Georgina was fortunate to be shortlisted in her heat.
